Anthony David Gonzalez is a ex- American football tight-end who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. One of the NFL's most efficient tight ends as well as the third best overall receiver, he's been ranked as the NFL's top tight end by the number of receptions, yards he has received, achieved, and so on.
Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst on FOX Sports Studio. Gonzalez has appeared as a guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's hour-long NFL pregame program preceding FOX NFL SUNSET), which is broadcast every Sunday at 11:00AM ET through the NFL season.
On March 15th, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons for a 2-year, $14 million deal, despite his claim that the Falcons would let him go at the end of 2013. After the departure of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez was the leader of the NFL's active players in receiving yards.
